Effective date: [DATE]
These terms are a contract between you and [ENTITY NAME, jurisdiction] (“BingeReel”, “we”, “us”), [ADDRESS]. They cover the BingeReel app on iOS and Android, the websites bingereel.tv and bingereel.app, and everything we offer through them (together, the “Service”). You accept these terms by tapping Agree and continue on the first-launch screen the first time you open the app; the same sentence, with a link to the full text, sits under every purchase button and you accept the terms again each time you buy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Short version of the parts people ask about most:
- Coins are not money. Coins you buy never expire, and that includes the bonus coins in a pack and the 500 coins in the Starter Pack. Reward coins you earn expire 30 days after you get them.
- The weekly pass is $19.99 a week ($15.99 for your first week if the store confirms you are eligible for the intro offer). The yearly pass is $149.99 a year. Both renew on their own until you cancel. Cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Where your state taxes digital purchases, Apple or Google adds the tax at checkout.
- Auto-unlock is on by default. Before the first automatic spend on your account, the app asks you to confirm that auto-unlock may use your coins and shows the episode price. After that, every automatic spend shows a notice in the player for 4 seconds with an Undo action; undo returns the coins and re-locks the episode. You can switch auto-unlock off in one tap.
- Refunds for app purchases go through Apple or Google, whichever store you bought from. See section 6.
- Disputes in the United States go to individual arbitration unless you opt out within 30 days of accepting these terms.
1. Who can use BingeReel
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. The first time you open the app we ask which age band you are in: 13 to 17, or 18 and over. The same screen says the Service is for people 13 and over and asks anyone under 13 not to continue; until a band is chosen the app goes no further and stores nothing. Some titles are marked 18+ and are shown only to accounts in the 18-and-over band. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s permission, and that person agrees to these terms for you.
The app stores carry their own content rating for BingeReel, and a parent’s device controls (Screen Time, Family Link) may block the download for a younger user regardless of these terms. If you are barred from using the Service under the law of your country, you may not use it. We may close any account we believe belongs to someone under 13.
2. Accounts
You can use BingeReel as a guest or signed in.
Guest accounts. When you first open the app we create a guest account tied to the app installation on your device. Your coin balance and watch history are kept on our servers, not on the phone, and are re-synced to that installation whenever the app connects. A pass you bought as a guest is tied to your Apple ID or Google account, so it can be restored on any of your devices with the Restore purchases control in the app. Coins on a guest account cannot follow you to another device on their own: if you switch phones, reinstall on a device that does not keep the installation identity, or lose the device, the guest account may not be recoverable. To keep your coins on any device, sign in; the app says so next to the sign-in button. If a guest account with purchased coins is lost, write to support@bingereel.tv with the store receipt and we will re-credit the purchased coins to your new account.
Signed-in accounts. You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with your email address. Email sign-in works by a one-time sign-in link (a magic link) sent to your inbox; we do not create or store a password. Signing in moves your guest balance and history into the signed-in account. If the account you sign in with already exists, for example from another phone, the two are merged into the older one: coin balances add up and keep their own expiry dates, unlocks and lists combine, the longer streak stays, and the more restrictive age band applies. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email or sign-in provider private. Tell us at support@bingereel.tv if you think someone else has used it.
One account per person. Do not sell, rent, or share accounts.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account from Settings, Account, Delete account in the app, or by emailing support@bingereel.tv. Deletion removes your profile, history, and any coin balance, including purchased coins; deletion is not a refund route. See section 6 for refunds.
Inactive guest accounts. A guest account that has never bought anything and holds no coins is deleted after 12 months without activity. A guest account that holds purchased coins or an active pass is never deleted for inactivity.
3. Coins
What coins are. Coins are a virtual credit used only inside BingeReel, mainly to unlock episodes. Coins have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to anyone else or to another service. You do not own coins; we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use them in the Service under these terms.
Two kinds of coins.
- Coins are the ones you pay for: the coins in a coin pack, the bonus coins that come with a pack, and the 500 coins credited at once when you buy the Starter Pack. Coins do not expire while your account exists.
- Reward coins are the ones you earn or receive free: check-in rewards, rewarded ads, watch-time rewards, the sign-in bonus, first-wall gifts, task rewards, the daily pass reward, the Starter Pack’s 1,500 coins paid out over seven daily claims, and any promotional grants. Reward coins expire 30 days after they are credited. The app shows the expiry date of each reward-coin grant on the wallet page and on the coin sheet.
Spend order. When you unlock an episode, reward coins are used first, starting with the ones closest to expiring. Coins you paid for are used only after your reward coins are spent.
Episode price. The current price is 60 coins per locked episode. We show the price on the unlock screen before you spend. We can change episode prices, pack sizes, and pack prices for future purchases; changes never take away coins you already hold.
Gift coins tied to one episode. Some grants (for example the gift at your first locked episode) can only be used on the episode they were granted for. The grant screen says so.
Changes to the coin system. We may add, change, or retire coin features, and may correct balances that were credited by mistake, by fraud, or by abuse of a reward. If we ever shut down coins entirely, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and refund unused purchased coins at the price you paid for them.
4. Coin packs and one-time purchases
Coin packs are bought through Apple’s App Store or Google Play from inside the app. The packs and prices at launch (US storefront, before any sales tax) are:
| Pack | Coins | Bonus coins | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 500 Coins | 500 | 0 | $4.99 |
| 1,000 Coins + 100 Bonus | 1,000 | 100 | $9.99 |
| 2,000 Coins + 400 Bonus | 2,000 | 400 | $19.99 |
| 3,000 Coins + 900 Bonus | 3,000 | 900 | $29.99 |
| 5,000 Coins + 2,500 Bonus | 5,000 | 2,500 | $49.99 |
| 10,000 Coins + 10,000 Bonus | 10,000 | 10,000 | $99.99 |
Every coin in a pack, including the bonus coins, is a purchased coin under section 3 and does not expire.
Starter Pack (first-purchase offer). Viewers who have never bought anything may be offered the Starter Pack at $4.99: 500 coins credited at once, plus 1,500 reward coins paid out in seven daily parts on the Rewards page. Day 1 is credited with the purchase; days 2 to 7 must each be claimed on that day, and a missed day ends the payout. The 500 coins are purchased coins and do not expire. Each daily claim of the 1,500 is reward coins and expires 30 days after that claim. The Starter Pack is a different product from the 500 Coins pack and is available once per account.
Prices and tax. Prices shown in the app are in your storefront’s currency and are shown before sales tax. Where your state or country taxes digital purchases, Apple or Google adds the tax at checkout and shows you the total before you confirm. The store may show a different price than this document if the storefront or our prices change; the total shown at checkout is the one you pay.
5. Passes (subscriptions)
What a pass gives you. While a pass is active you get every episode with no coins needed, a daily reward-coin grant claimed on the Rewards page (20 reward coins a day at launch; the amount is shown there), 1080p playback (viewing without a pass plays at up to 720p), and no ads. Reward coins from the daily pass grant follow section 3. When a pass ends, episodes you watched under it lock again; episodes you unlocked with coins, an ad, or a gift stay unlocked. Offline downloads are not part of a pass at launch; if we add them we will say so on the pass screen first.
Plans at launch (US storefront, before any sales tax):
- Weekly pass: $19.99 per week. If the store confirms you are eligible for the introductory offer, you pay $15.99 for the first week, then $19.99 per week.
- Yearly pass: $149.99 per year.
Auto-renewal. Passes renew automatically at the end of each period at the renewal price stated above, charged to the payment method on file with Apple or Google, until you cancel. Before you buy, the app shows you the price, the billing period, the renewal price after any intro period, and how to cancel. Buying the pass confirms you want it to renew.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period, and you keep pass benefits until the current period ends.
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose BingeReel, tap Cancel Subscription. Apple applies a cancellation to the next renewal only if you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Or in the BingeReel app: Profile, Manage subscription, which opens the same Apple page.
- Android: open the Google Play app, tap your profile picture, tap Payments & subscriptions, tap Subscriptions, choose BingeReel, tap Cancel subscription. Google Play has no 24-hour cutoff: a cancellation made before the renewal date stops the next charge, and the pass stays active until the period ends. Or in the BingeReel app: Profile, Manage subscription.
- Web (once web purchases are offered): sign in at bingereel.tv, open Account, then Manage subscription, and click Cancel. Cancelling on the web is as easy as signing up: no call, no chat, no retention screen you cannot skip.
Where you bought it matters. A pass bought through Apple is managed and cancelled through Apple; through Google, through Google; on the web, on the web. We cannot cancel an Apple or Google subscription for you, but we will tell you exactly where to do it if you write to support@bingereel.tv.
Price changes. If we raise the renewal price of a pass you already hold, you will be told in advance through the store, and depending on the store you may have to agree to the new price before it applies. If you do not agree, the pass ends at the close of the current period.
Intro offers. The introductory price is for new subscribers and cannot be combined with other offers. Apple and Google decide eligibility per Apple ID or Google account; if the store says you have already used an intro offer for BingeReel, the app shows the regular price and tells you why.
Restoring a pass. A pass bought as a guest or signed in is tied to your Apple ID or Google account and can be restored on any device signed into that store account with Restore purchases (the Store, the wallet, or Profile, Manage subscription). Restore also re-syncs your coin balance from our servers; coins themselves never come back from the store.
6. Refunds
This section is our refund policy; the app links to it as bingereel.tv/terms#refunds.
Purchases through Apple or Google. Apple and Google process the payment and handle refunds under their own rules. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play’s order history. We do not see your card details and cannot issue an Apple or Google refund ourselves.
What happens to coins after a store refund. If a store refunds a coin purchase, we remove any coins from that purchase that you have not yet spent. If you had already spent some of them, your coin balance shows 0 and the wallet shows the amount still owed; your next coin purchase covers it first, and reward coins you earn in the meantime are never applied to it and stay yours to spend. If a store refunds a pass, the pass ends at once.
Purchases on the web. Refund requests go to support@bingereel.tv. We refund purchases made in the last 14 days where the coins have not been spent, and we consider other cases on their merits.
Reward coins are free and are never refunded or paid out. Coins and passes are otherwise non-refundable except where the law requires a refund, in which case the law applies.
If you think you were charged by mistake, write to support@bingereel.tv with the store receipt and we will help you get it to the right place.
7. Auto-unlock
Auto-unlock lets the next locked episode open automatically using your coins so the story does not stop. It is on by default.
- You can turn it off or on at any time from the coin sheet, the player’s More menu, or Settings, Playback; the wallet page shows whether it is on. The toggle is always visible; it is never hidden behind a purchase.
- Before the first automatic spend on your account, the app asks you to confirm that auto-unlock may use your coins and shows the episode price. After that, every automatic spend shows a notice in the player for 4 seconds with an Undo action; undo returns the coins and re-locks the episode. Undo is not offered once the 4 seconds have passed or the next episode has started.
- Auto-unlock only spends coins you already hold, reward coins first. It never buys coins, starts a pass, or charges your card.
- If your balance is too low, playback stops at the wall and you choose what to do next.
8. Rewarded ads and rewards
The app offers ways to earn reward coins: watching rewarded ads, daily check-ins, watch-time milestones, and small tasks such as following our social accounts or turning on notifications. The reward amounts, daily limits, and streak rules are shown on the Rewards page and its Rules page, and can change for future rewards. The rules that matter most:
- A new day starts at 00:00 in the time zone your phone was in when you last opened the app. Check-ins, ad counts, and the task list reset then; changing the phone’s time zone cannot open a second day.
- Check-in streaks pay more on later days and start again at day 1 after day 7; a missed day resets the streak to day 1.
- Rewards that need a tap to claim must be claimed the same day; unclaimed rewards clear at the reset.
- Newcomer tasks are available for 7 days after your account is created, which is the first time you open the app.
- Rewards are credited by our servers after the ad or task is verified; an ad that is closed early or blocked earns nothing.
- Every reward is reward coins under section 3: it expires 30 days after it is credited and is spent before purchased coins.
- We may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through automation, emulators, ad blockers, rapid or repeated playback that no one is watching, multiple accounts on one device, or other abuse, and may close accounts that do it.
Ads are shown by third-party networks (AdMob at launch). What they collect is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Your licence to watch
We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream episodes inside the app and, if the app ever offers it, to download them for offline viewing inside the app. That is all. You may not copy, record, screen-capture, re-upload, redistribute, publicly show, or make derivative works of any episode, still, audio, script, or artwork; remove watermarks or notices; or circumvent any locking, DRM, or watermarking. If downloads are offered, they are for offline viewing in the app and stop working when your pass ends or if the title leaves the catalogue.
10. AI-generated content
Series on BingeReel are produced with generative AI tools, including AI-generated video, voices, and characters. The characters are synthetic and are not real people; any resemblance to a real person is unintended. Titles are labelled as AI-generated in the app. We review episodes before release, but AI output can contain visual or audio errors. If you see something that looks wrong or harmful, report it from the episode menu or write to support@bingereel.tv.
11. Your content
If the app lets you post comments, reviews, lists, or a profile name and picture, you keep ownership of what you post and give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and moderate it inside the Service for as long as it is posted. Do not post anything illegal, hateful, sexual, harassing, spammy, or that you do not have the right to share. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Ideas and feedback you send us can be used by us without payment or credit.
12. Rules of use
You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, emulators, or multiple accounts to farm rewards or game the check-in and ad systems;
- buy, sell, or trade coins, accounts, or unlocks outside the app;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app, its DRM, or its servers;
- scrape the catalogue or download episodes by any means other than a download feature the app itself offers;
- use the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine-learning models;
- impersonate anyone, harass anyone, or upload malware;
- use the Service in a way that breaks the law.
If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account. Except where notice would be unlawful or would help ongoing fraud or a payment dispute, we will tell you the reason in the app or by email and, for anything short of fraud, give you 14 days to put it right before the account is closed. Reward coins on an account closed for breach are forfeited. Purchased coins on an account closed for breach are forfeited only where the breach involved fraud, a chargeback, or reward abuse; otherwise section 16 applies to them.
13. Intellectual property
BingeReel, its logo, the app, the website, the catalogue, and all episodes, artwork, scripts, characters, music, and text are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these terms gives you any right in them beyond the viewing licence in section 9.
Copyright complaints. If you believe something on BingeReel infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at support@bingereel.tv (subject line “DMCA”) with: the work you claim is infringed; the URL or episode that infringes; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove content that infringes and may close the accounts of repeat infringers. [Register the DMCA agent with the US Copyright Office before launch; see checklist.]
14. Third-party services
Apple, Google, and payment processors have their own terms that apply to your purchases. Ad networks and analytics providers have their own privacy practices, listed in the Privacy Policy. Links to outside sites are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for what you find there.
15. Changes to the Service and these terms
We can change, pause, or stop any part of the Service, including catalogue titles, coin prices, reward amounts, and pass benefits. When a change materially affects something you have paid for, we will tell you in advance and, where the law requires it, give you a way to end the arrangement and get a pro-rated refund.
We can update these terms. We will post the new version in the app and on bingereel.tv with a new effective date, and for material changes we will notify you at least 14 days before they take effect: in the app’s inbox for everyone, and by email as well if you are signed in with an email address. Using the Service after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the Service and, if you have a pass, cancel it.
16. Ending the relationship
You can stop using BingeReel at any time and delete your account as described in section 2. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we shut down the Service. If we end your access for a reason other than your breach and you hold unused purchased coins, we will refund them at the price you paid. Sections 3, 9, 12, 13, and 17 to 21 survive termination.
17. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every country, or that any title will stay in the catalogue. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some places do not allow these disclaimers, so some of them may not apply to you.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BingeReel and its owners, staff, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
19. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from that claim.
20. Disputes and arbitration (United States)
This section applies if you live in the United States. Please read it; it affects your rights.
Talk to us first. Before starting a formal dispute, email support@bingereel.tv with “Dispute Notice” in the subject and a description of the problem and what you want. We will do the same if we have a claim against you. Both sides agree to try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days.
Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, any dispute between you and BingeReel about the Service or these terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration run by [ARBITRATION PROVIDER: AAA or JAMS] under its consumer rules, not in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator decides everything, including whether a claim can be arbitrated. Arbitration will take place by video, phone, or written submissions unless an in-person hearing is needed, in which case it will be held in the county where you live. For claims under $10,000, we will pay the arbitration filing and arbitrator fees beyond what a court filing would have cost you, unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous.
Exceptions. Either side can bring an individual claim in small claims court instead. Either side can go to court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
No class actions. You and BingeReel agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims of more than one person. If this paragraph is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim goes to court, and the rest of the disputes still go to arbitration.
30-day opt-out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@bingereel.tv within 30 days of the date you first accepted these terms on the first-launch screen (we record that date against your account or installation and show it in Settings, Legal), with your name, the email or account ID you use, and a clear statement that you want to opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.
Mass filings. If 25 or more similar claims are filed against us by the same or coordinated counsel, the claims will be handled in batches under the provider’s mass-arbitration procedures, with a small number of test cases resolved first. [Counsel to confirm the batching procedure.]
Changes to this section. If we change this section after you accept it, you can reject the change by emailing us within 30 days of the change notice, and the version you accepted stays in force for you.
21. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE] and, where applicable, US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For anything that is not arbitrated, you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in [COUNTY, STATE]. If you live outside the United States, mandatory consumer laws of your country may give you additional rights, and nothing here takes those away.
22. Other terms
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. We may assign these terms to a successor; you may not assign them. Notices to you are shown in the app’s inbox and, if you are signed in with an email address, sent to that address as well. Notices to us go to the address below.
How acceptance is recorded. When you tap Agree and continue on the first-launch screen or buy something, we record the terms version, the date and time, your age band, and your account or installation ID. Settings, Legal shows the version you accepted and the date; earlier versions stay available at bingereel.tv/terms/history.
The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you are responsible for following your local laws, and you may not use it if you are on a US sanctions list or in an embargoed country.
